Wow! This brand has been almost 8 years in the making, and it’s changed a whole lot since I first started planning it. But the foundation has always been the same.
I have always been different, as anyone who’s known me even a little can vouch for. So growing up I got bullied a LOT. I actually think I repressed a lot of it because I had people as adults apologize for bullying me where I didn’t even remember it happening. But I didn’t let that stop me- I just got hotter and weirder.
I came up with the idea for Weird Girl Mob because I know there’s girls getting bullied for daring to be different right this instant and I’d love to give them some comradeship that I never had. Weird Girl Mob is inclusive- nobody is left out or “too weird.”
So to my fellow weirdos, don’t let anyone ever snuff out your uniqueness- embrace it, because that is your most valuable quality. Stand up for the other people who are different, because they’re your biggest allies. And above all, stay weird
